Our Retina Physicians

Although the specialty of retina is extremely technologically oriented and requires an extraordinary level of expertise on the part of the surgeon, we feel the personalized care afforded by our physicians and staff to be equally important. The physicians of Northeast Wisconsin Retina Associates are highly skilled retinal specialists (see About Retinal Specialists).

Clinical Trials

Our doctors have previously been involved in a variety of National Institutes of Health (NIH) clinical trials including the Age-Related Eye Disease Study (AREDS), the Central Vein Occlusion Study (CVOS), the Macular Photocoagulation Study (MPS), the Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS), and the Collaborative Ocular Melanoma Study (COMS) among others. Additionally, our doctors have authored articles published in peer-reviewed journals such as the American Journal of Ophthalmology, Retina, Archives of Ophthalmology and the British Journal of Ophthalmology.

Memberships

Memberships in many professional societies including the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS), the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the Association for Research in Vision in Ophthalmology (ARVO) are maintained by our physicians. An exhaustive list of individual accomplishments has not been provided for each doctor since we believe that these research projects, publications and honors are reflections of the overall commitment of Northeast Wisconsin Retina Associates to medical excellence in the service of our patients and referring doctors.
